Mouse wheel to work on boxes.

I thought it wasn't working only at the adress bar.
But then I needed to set up a burning set of discs and decided to give the "len: > 260" a try.
On a "d/e/f/g:\B" paths as base, I thought it was fast to search for those annoying long path files. The I realized that I had to enter manually each and every value, all of the time, or click and scroll down because mouse wheel was not being responsive on that "search" field!
Then trying to back-and-forth values between len: > 260 / len: > 100, I had to scroll manually also.
Is there a quick fix for that?
CTRL+F to match panel 1/panel 2 searches.
Took a time to realize that each time I wanted to do a search, I had to manually enter the Location field. I'd expect the app to auto sync that when invoking it from panel 1/2 by pressing CTRL+F.
Any ideas...?
Hmmmm... there IS an option to "Auto sync" and it DOES what I want. But... why it's not defaulted...???
