Error 6

As I've just registrated to the forum, a first hello to all, and especially to Donald!
I enjoy TrackerV3 and the forum for about one year - and like both very much :)

But now, since 4.20.0052, and further after installing 4.20.0056, directly after starting TrackerV3 I see a messagebox for an error:

Error 6
Desc Overflow
Dll 0
Proc Load@70

Source TrackerV3
Version 4.20.0056
OS WinXP
Date 21.11.2005 20:33:13

...and both after clicking "OK" or "Abbrechen" (German, you know? :) ) TrackerV3 is terminated.
Just know of nothing else I did, but installed these 2 Versions, before the problem occured. But if you think it's not caused by TrackerV3, it would be fine if you had some idea, what could lead to this situation!

Thanks for any help,
thanks for such a fine peace of software,
and thanks for much time enjoying forum discussions!

Peter

Hmm, my first guess (yes, it's a programmer's reflex): your INI file is corrupt. Could you try to rename it and see what happens?

And hello to you , too :D

Solved!

Good idea - that's it! Too late to check why, but after renaming .ini, TrackerV3 is startable again... :P
Thanks a lot, I think I will have a look at it tomorrow. (I'm curious if I find it...)

Just compared the "fresh" .ini, and the corrupt version. Awaiting, that something would be destroyed - but nothing! From beginning to end it seems "physically" good, of course with much user-specific values I gathered in several months... :? Nothing cut off, or something like that.
No idea, what lead to the problem. But maybe I will do some more investigation next days

Yes, it's fun. Add the old ini section by section until you get your error...
