Option to turn off the thumbnail pop up image border?

How about add the option to turn off the thumbnail pop up image border? This will allow for a more true depiction of the image for those of us who prefer it.

would this option be hard to implement? i prefer to see the images accurately without any artificial borders.

do you mean the Mouse Down Blow Up images? yeah, i agree it would be nice to have an option to remove the extra borders

btw, is there an option to turn off thumbnail borders too? not just the pop up image.

curious, are we getting close to improving the thumbnail customization options yet?
