How about add an option to let us set our preferred universal default view type for folders? Such as list, details, thumbnails, etc. So that when we click on a new folder, it knows to switch to our universal default view type--even if our current view type is temporarily something else.

BTW: What I'm talking about is different from the "save current folder view" function.
