Allow favorites to be added as toolbar buttons?

How about allow favorites to be added as toolbar buttons? This would be faster to access than the current drop down favorites button. I know we can make custom toolbar buttons to go to folders but that does not auto update along with our favorites.

BTW: Prefer this with customizable icons.

here's a screenshot example from my previous file manager [they are called bookmarks there]. notice how the favorites are treated like buttons for toolbar customizing. they also have customizable icons.

You can easily create something like this using CTBs. You can place many various locations/programs in one CTB (at least 100 - 50 on each side) and add whatever icon you want to each item. It's more work, but you need to do this only once.

yes but the only issue with ctb is that the favorites dont auto update. so we currently have to manually update the ctb to coincide with our favorites.

But it's good for a nice homework. Since all this is stored in the INI file, you could write a script that saves the current favorites, then reads them from the INI file and writes the matching CTBs definitions to the INI file, closes and restarts XY. All with one click. :)
