What file types can XYplorer do a text search within? Can it search pdf files? If it can search within pdf files can it find text at the end of large files?
Muchas Gracias,
Bruno

Hi and welcome to the XY forums!
XY can search for text within any file that contains that text in normal uncompressed ASCII form...PDF files are more like a JPG in a way in that text is sort of stored like a graphic and thus not easily searchable...there are app's that will but it takes longer time to do so.
Sorry to not have better answer...and this topic has been mentioned before here...after typing above, I looked and found this thread that has more details:

It will find text at the end of large files, but as jc_hallgren said, it only look for raw bytes, it does not interpret content.
