Highlighted items to be preserved per tab

Hi !

In order to use tabs instead of multiple instances, the following is crucial for my own particular use.

In a particular folder (viewed in a tab), I select various items to delete or move.

I do this based on what I see in another folder. Prior to using TrackerV3, I used two instances of Windows Explorer. Now I could use tabs, but when I change tabs, the highlighting is lost (except for one item for some reason).

Can the highlighting be preserved ?

An interesting point I hadn't noticed because I usually select the files I want to copy / move, and then do it.
I agree with you that the selection should be remembered when switching tabs.

The problem here is the theoretical amount of data (to be kept in memory or on disk) necessary to achieve this. 10, 20, 100 selections would not be a problem, but if you have 20 tabs of 70,000 files each and all are selected, it will get real heavy...

One solution would be an arbitrary limit: up to, say, 100 selections per tab are remembered -- but this approach is never a good idea in the long run.
Sometimes arbitrary limits are needed in life. :)

100 would be more than enough, if a lesser number were better, then that would be fine.
