Tab features

Would be nice to have tab features similar to firefox.

It's annoying if I close a tab accidentally. Would be nice have feature to undo closed tab by middle clicking on empty tab area. For that some reserve space has to be kept in right side for ability of clicking in case of many tabs and two buttons for scrolling tab list to bring in view required tab.

Also the tab list could be shown as in firefox by clicking at the rightmost space. Currently there is shortcut only or by right clicking at the empty space(when there are few tabs)

Before you created this thread, had you searched for "undo closed tab", you would have found a few hits, including this one titled as such:

And there is already a limited ability to undo the most recently closed tab as described there: menu View > Current tab > Restore last Closed

Sorry, but yes, it's limited since it only allows you to undo one tab --and-- cannot be triggered as OP requested by middle-click, right?

As I and others noted in the thread I linked, Opera has a dropdown via "trash" icon on toolbar that allows me to reopen my choice of which tab I closed, and thus allows multiple re-opens.

Granted, Opera & FF are browsers and not FM's but they both use tabs so some commonality would apply.

I know it but forgot to write :). I wanted to say multiple tabs...and with middle button. Most of the time i browse with mouse so it's easiest solution.

Don, have you thought of the ability to scroll tab bar or making it multiline? Would be great as currently the space to show seems limited on opening many tabs
And conc. reserved space: config / tabs / keep right end empty..
This space disappears on opening many tabs

Although you all might be knowing the firefox behavior still if you don't then here are few caps

Middle button definitions may likely come with CEA (Custom Event Actions) when that is implemented...multiple tabs was discussed in other thread also...

Both of those have been discussed here at various times/threads...not sure of Don's current thoughts on this...I believe multiline would be too complicated in terms of design & coding.

I just tried it and it still left a small unused space at right no matter how many tabs I opened...

BTW, have you tried "Iconize" tabs? That allows a tab to become VERY narrow and thus allow much more tabs on given size screen.
