Alphabetize Folders - Sort Recent Files

Is it possible to alphabetize the folders, while at the same time, showing the most recently modified files uppermost in the file list? So, for instance, when I open My Documents, I can see the folders up top, beginning with A, but the files are sorted by by recent modification?
