Hi everyone, first at all i want to say, that this file admin is very good and i use too much, but I need to know if exist the chance to add this (as well stop using the other file managers that if they can do):
Add Language Spanish (Latinoamerican) << Not Solved! (I hope later to make it happen) >>
Modify attributes (Read Only, System, Archive, Hide) << Solved! >>
Modify Time and Date (Creation, Modification) << Solved! >>

Hi and welcome to the XY forums!

How about 2 out of 3?

XY doesn't support other languages directly and there aren't any plans to do so that I know of as the work involved is quite extensive for the benefits gained...sorry! Hope that won't cause you to go elsewhere...

However, for your other two items, I'd suggest looking here: http://88.191.26.34/XYwiki/index.php/In ... e-stamping
The following paragraph covers the Attributes....

First, hi and welcome to the forums!

Don (the developer) has commented in the past that localizing or translating XY is extremely unlikely to happen as the GUI work required to display strings of variable length is too much. Plus it would mean maintaining documentation for each of those languages.

Modify Time and Date (Creation, Modification)
These are both possible via the Information Panel.

In the main menu go to Window->Show Panel.
Select a file whose attributes you wish to change.
You can (un)check the attributes as desired or if you want to change a date/time just click on the date you wish to change and enter the new one.
After you make any changes you MUST click on the green check mark to apply those changes.

EDIT: I see you've met the speedy j_c_hallgren, who responds so quickly that the rest of us often find we've wasted time trying to reply first. :P

 Sorry! But your answer was also a bit more thorough than mine so not a wasted effort!

I just try to be as prompt as possible especially for most first-timers here...and I don't always have the answer or best description of it, so having others like TheQwerty help out is what makes this place SO great!

BTW, there is a "movie" at http://www.xyplorer.com/videos/vid003.htm that relates to this, but it may be just a tiny bit outdated as it was for v7.90....

I was just about to post the code to a short script I wrote to solve the "problem" of not being able to change the attributes of several files at once. I'm sure glad I did a search through the forums first so I wouldn't embarrass myself! These forums are awesome! And so is XYplorer!
