Search box shows (when we write a letters) only the files that contain the specified letters (in the currently open folder).

I know what you mean (it's called different things in different file managers) but many have a 'Filter' as you type box - it kinda works the same as a Location Bar Search in XYplorer (e.g. ?searchforsomething).

It has been discussed before but never seemed that popular with Don (the developer).

Basically a seperate Combobox (possibly next to the Location bar) - you start typing, and as you type matching items (from the current location/folder) are displayed (filtered). The advantages are - fewer keystrokes and the file list is filtered in place (as you type) - you just clear the filter box and all the folders/files are displayed.

We can only wish

What do you think about this: we write, and spot&jump automatically (without pressing Enter) marks and cleans of unnecessary items.
