Is it now possible to limit searching by folder level? Eg to search though only the current folder and all its subfolders from the first till the NNN nested level?

Well, I am not sure how exotic this wish is. However some advanced searching applications do use this option. So we should assume that there are some persons on this planet, who need this function.admin wrote:Quite exotic wish. Do you think another person on this planet will need it, too
Well, I don't want to get too philosophical here, but isn't it typical for capitalistic markets to produce stuff/features nobody needs, just to "out-feature" the competitors?Leopoldus wrote:Well, I am not sure how exotic this wish is. There is one other user who would find it useful at times. I know that the file(s) I want to locate are in sub-directories one level down and not in any lower levels. Html documents, for example, but not those that are sub-documents of the main document (and therefore in a sub-sub-directory). Searching the entire tree and all it's sub-directories is therefore unnecessary since I know nothing will be found in those lower levels (or if it is it won't be what I am searching for). Not a situation that occurs very often so, for me, not very important.admin wrote:Quite exotic wish. Do you think another person on this planet will need it, too
Just right. But it is not yet the main problem.Gandolf wrote:Searching the entire tree and all it's sub-directories is therefore unnecessary since I know nothing will be found in those lower levels...
This is the problem indeed.... or if it is it won't be what I am searching for).
