A wish in breadcrumb

Hello, I've just learned about the breadcrumb feature inside XYplorer but I think that it should be improved in the future (as near as possible

). The feature should work like in Explorer of Windows Vista, so we can navigate more easier and faster.
Please take a look:
Thank you for considering!

I would like to throw my strong support behind this wish. The way AB works in Vista's WE is perfect (for me). It has both the text mode (aka XY's one) and the breadcrumb mode, it's easy to switch between the two of them. I must say that I don't use AB in XY at all, but if it had the breadcrumb mode like Vista's WE I'd be all over it

I know that I've seen this same wish here before but so far I've been unable to locate the prior thread(s)...if/when I do, I'll update this with links...

I'm just the late comer.
For sure, I love this feature very much.
And you guys have any idea about this feature? Should it behave like Vista's Explorer (breadcrumb in address bar) or x2 (clickable path on tab headers). The first is also a feature in GNOME's Nautilus.

My pleasure! In Don's absence, I get a feeling that the forums become a very quiet place, so I'm just trying to make sure that there is some life and that people who have questions get the answers. Simply doing my fair share of making XYplorer universe better

I think it should be like Vista's WE. The bit with the drop-down list of folders is what does it for me in Vista's AB. I think x2's AB is just a spiced up version of XY's one. Clickable paths is an apple falling too close to the tree, I prefer breadcrumb.
