The 256 files selection limit

Hello again from me.
As I stated in a previous topic, I like XY very much, I know now it's stable and ready for long uptimes.

After few days of working with it and learning the features, I came accross this limitation of 256 selected files in a tab that can be remembered between switching tabs.
This is almost unacceptable for me, for example I select carefully 300 or 400 files, then I go to another tab just to check something, then I go back and - there are no files selected.

Is there a way to increase the 256 files selection limit or it is hard coded?
I read this was made for memory/efficiency purposes but I think I should be at least able to change this number. I have 8 gigs of RAM and I'm Ok if XY consumes even 1 gig at times, just to be able to not lose selections.

Thanks.

Sounds reasonable. I will make it configurable, with "0" for unlimited. :)

Thanks :) . I'll wait for that.

By the way, I know this isn't the place, but just I thought it would be good to mention... (it is not worth opening a new thread)
At some time in the future it would be appreciable if XY's address bar inherits the Vista Explorer's breadcrumb style of the Address bar. It is very convenient way to navigate sometimes and I think more than few people miss it. Not a big deal anyway.

Just from memory, I can recall there have been at least 2-3 threads already about this...so do a little searching and I'm sure you'll find one that you can append your desire onto...I don't have the time right now or I'd do it.
