I don't believe this is something XY can support but I wonder if anyone can offer some help. I have folders of Word and Excel documents on my local hard drive and I routinely need to search them to refer back to specific topics. Currently I have to open each document and perform an internal search which is extremely time consuming. Are there any utilities that will do this? Sort of Google search approach that will display the context of the search item and then allow you to drill out to it.
Thanks!

Re: Folder Search Within Documents
Given that the format of those file types is non-text, it makes it hard for XY to search them...so one typically has to resort to other utilities...and given that you mentioned Googles, one possible solution is Desktop as shown here http://desktop.google.com/features.htmlTestMeister wrote: Are there any utilities that will do this? Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
