I just discovered this product over the weekend and boy do I love it!

My request is to be able to bring down the Favorites menu, right click on a folder and choose "Open in a new tab". I know I can create the new tab first and then click on my Folder. Maybe I'll get used to doing it this way (but maybe not!)

In pointing you to the approp section of wiki http://88.191.26.34/XYwiki/index.php/Ta ... _a_New_Tab, we note that by using Shift while clicking on Favorites item does it! Ok, so it's not a plain right click, but it's close, true?

As alternative, you can use the Catalog where by right click (or Context menu key), you get a menu where you can "go to in new tab"...or you can just shift+click on the Catalog item which is the shortcut...those are what comes to my mind first.

Thank you so much for the tip. There's so much in the product, I haven't quite gotten it all under my belt.

This is, indeed, close enough to what I want to be able to do.

Don't worry about that! I've been using XY for 3+ yrs and still can't keep track of all the features, especially as some features that others use daily are only used rarely by me and vice-versa.

That's why, between the built-in Help, the XY website, the excellent user maintained wiki and my own blog of change logs ([url]http://xyplorer.blogspot.com)[/url], there should be enough resources to answer most queries...and if not, there is always this great forum and us XY fans, ok?

And just so you know, my blog is a basically a reformatted variant of the forum beta thread (http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4) which I maintain (as best I can, but on occasion, I may get a few days behind) and thus you can be notified via RSS and/or email of updates which isn't as easy or possible via forum...also, by isolating the data into a blog, you can search that "thread" much more easily to locate something as to when it changed.
