How can i set colors in the visual filter window?

Hello I found Xyplorer and think it has all basic functions and speed I need...
but one thing is not pleasant : I can't stil find how to change colors in the visual filter window. on the pulldown menu, I select View->Current Tab->Set visual filter, and a little window appears, it has a rectangle box with help text, but text/bg colors are always black & white there... I use a darkish purple theme and the colors there are quite bad to my taste.
I tried to change all colors in configuration menu and manually edit the config file but coudn't make this.
Previously I gave up on some file commanders that are very functional only because I coudn't change the theme as I'd have loved to.
So this time I hope I have some luck with xyplorer.
Does someone know if this is possible?

Hi and Welcome to XYplorer,
I think changing the font color in that window from within XY is not possible. But I think you can change the font color via OS's native appearance setting. I think in XP it is right-click on desktop>Properties>Appearance and I guess from advanced tab. See here :
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/usin ... /look.mspx.
Also, just curious to know how you have darkish purple theme in XYplorer? I assume you use a theme in windows XP/Vista which changes the XY skin, right.

Yes, my Windows XP theme is a purple one. And I'd customized some more colors in display properties of XP, as you explained. But they were not all taken into account by Xyplorer, so I changed them in Tools->Configuration->Interface colors. So almost all areas suit my taste now, but I can't change the one I've mentioned in the previous post... There're no white/black colors left in the display properties of my XP, so I' think your method doesn't change the colors in the filter window of Xyplorer, but I'm glad to hear your help.

OK, tried it and seems like the background in the filter window does not completely change (Only the top part is changed), but the font color can be changed. In the advanced tab if you select the item "Window" from the pull down menu, then you get 2 colors, and the font color is black which can be changed to your liking. Atleast i tried it and i could change.
So the font color can be changed and seems like the background is controlled by Don (XY author) so you have to ask him when he is back from Dual pane development break.

Should be fixed in the recent BETA.
