'Narrow Tree' is redundant...almost

I have just discovered a hidden Easter egg (or is it?). Move your mouse cursor into the tree pane, hold a Shift button and scroll up/down with your mouse wheel (if you have one). Doing so allows you to specify the degree of its width to a great extent. So that my little tip for those who aren't quite satisfied with Narrow/Full modes and would rather adjust it a bit more.

P.S. I don't think there is a way to make this work for laptop users with touchpads (aka j_c_hallgren) so they are missing out on this useful feature :(

I just checked and I don't see it in Help>Keyboard Shortcuts, but the other wheel based opts are, such as Cntl+wheel, and Cntl+Shift+wheel.

Code: Select all

v7.90.0106 - 2009-02-07 10:21
+ Tree: Now you can freely (in one-pixel steps between a lower and
an upper limit) change the node indent using Shift+MouseWheel over
      the Tree.
Shift+MouseWheel Up (away from you): decrease indent
Shift+MouseWheel Down (towards you): increase indent
In Tree style "Narrow Tree" the setting is ignored.
