xy seems to forget my tabs

I recently upgraded to V7.90.0100 and notice that now XY is not saving my tabs as before. I am not sure if this is due to the upgrade or whether I changed inadvertently some config but I cannot find the solution.

I would like to have three tabs fixed, ie each time I open Xy they should be showing the same folders, any additional tabs can circle and show whatever other search I just do. I have set these three tabs to lock location but this only keeps the data until my next restart of the application. At that point it just shows the tab last accessed and everything else is gone. This was not the case before :?:

Sounds like INI corruption. Can you send me the INI? Or try with a fresh INI to find out yourself.

Code: Select all

Or try with a fresh INI to find out yourself
Not sure if I understand correctly but I downloaded the same file fresh from the download link, unzipped and installed. Again set three tabs as locked, a fourth tab as home but as soon as I close and reopen, only the home tab reappears.

If my ini file is corrupted, how do I replace it?

Simply rename XYplorer.ini, then start XYplorer (of if XYplorer is already running: menu File | Restart without saving).

thanks for that - that did the trick.
Now I have to play with it a bit more as I see some other changes in the layout of the "search bar" and try out the tag feature.
Might be an illusion but it also seems to me that the folders open quicker?

Anyway, thanks for the help and thanks for a great app. :D
