It is strange. If I select the downloaded trial setup from this site:
http://omnisoft.com/alerts/default.asp

I get the following error: This is the first file where I get an error message when I select it.

Hmmm. I don't know "omnisoft" and I don't find any TV3 trial setup on their site. And I cannot reproduce this error.

Please try the latest v4.00.0153 and see if you still get that error. If yes, decribe exactly what you are doing. Merci!

Now I've tested the new version 4.00.0153. But I get the same error message when I just click on the file (just a single click to select it).

Of course the "Alerts_v1_Setup.exe" I've linked to above!
And I've added my OS info to the signature to avoid future obscurities.

OK, the string file version resource of this file was defect in a very exotic way. I could extract at least some bits of information (more than Explorer can), and, of course, avoid raising that error.

Now it works. Thanks!
