I'm running XY on Windows 7 now, if you have any specific tests you're interested in let me know. So far it all looks good.

That a good start! So, msvbvm60.dll is delivered with Windows 7? Goody.bugger wrote:I'm running XY on Windows 7 now, if you have any specific tests you're interested in let me know. So far it all looks good.
I'd get that behavior even under XP SP 3 when I'd do a 'backup to' from source drive to destination drive, copying about 30,000+ files about 50gb. I learned to leave it alone while it did this. It wasn't that it would just freeze, if I moved slowly enough in XY I could maybe switch to a new tab, but in general I couldn't do normal XY stuff while that was happening.kiku wrote:Try copying large and/or several files and check if XYplorer stops responding.
This is a known issue on Vista with SP1
Thank you

So Windows 7 is just Vista with a new name.bugger wrote:So I did a single test to copy 28,000+ files in a number of subfolders totalling about 427mb and indeed XY was frozen (not responding) until the copy completed.
