Ability to Select Blocks of Files Simultaneously

I would like to see the ability to be able to use your mouse to select seperate blocks of files while using List View.
You know, select a group of files and then hold down the control button and select another group of files without the first group becoming deselected.

Works here. In Details View.

Right. I specifically stated in List View. Thanks.
Not everyone enjoys or uses Details View.
Some users have no use for and do not like the visual aesthetics of Details View and happen to use List View. For them, it is difficult and aggravating to not to be able to select separate blocks of files simultaneously.

Yes, yes, but in the meantime I have added this feature (v7.80.0012 - 2008-11-21 10:27).

Make the first selection (if you need to span multiple columns do it with this one).
Ctrl+Click the first item in the next group.
Ctrl+Shift+Click the last item in the next group.

This does work and I was happy to know of a way to select multiple files simultaneously while in List View.
But, thanks to you and your attentiveness and competence, users will have a much more simple and fluid way of selecting multiple files in List View.
