If i ever switched this on (menu Scripting | step through scripts) xy always steps through scripts, even if i switch this off or restart xy.

Any advices?

I cannot reproduce this, ticking/unticking works as expected using the latest beta. When you try to untick the setting does it get unticked?

P.S. Probably this is better in the bugs section...

Yes, i can untick it.

But if i run the script i see this.
I post it here because i think i did something wrong.

Are you running the script through the "try script" dialog? This will always enter step mode.

It's a safety feature that was added very recently. I guess I should add a little note about it to the dialog...
