System/System (Enhanced) DPI scaling affects DPI awareness of applications launched from XYplorer

System: Windows 10 at 175% display scaling, XYplorer 28.30.1600 (64 bit).

I have a Per-Monitor-V2 (PMv2) DPI aware PySide6 application, compiled with Nuitka.
When launched from Windows Explorer it becomes PMv2 correctly.
When the same EXE is launched from XYplorer with high DPI scaling override set to System (Enhanced), SetProcessDpiAwarenessContext(PMv2) returns ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED. Even an EXE with an explicit PMv2 manifest reports PROCESS_DPI_UNAWARE when launched from XYplorer (or from a command prompt launched by XYplorer).
Disabling System (Enhanced) fixes it.

Interesting but that looks like a Windows bug. XY uses a normal manifest. No hacks.

The problem seems to be more general, and also related to my previous post (#p238727), where the solution to the narrow tree view and small icons problem was to set DPI scaling override to System (Enhanced).

However, with DPI scaling set to System (Enhanced), GUI text becomes less crisp, both in XYplorer and all applications started from XYplorer, including my own app. With DPI scaling set to Application (or off), everything is crisp, but my old problem comes back. You can already clearly see the difference in crispness in the screenshots of the previous post.

I've provided a few new screenshots to show the difference in crispness:
- "XYplorer - DPI System.png" - About box with DPI set to System (= not crisp)
- "XYplorer - DPI Application.png" - About box with DPI set to Application (= crisp)
- "DPI System and Application.png" - Shows a fragment of the tree, with DPI set to System on the left, and DPI set to Application on the right

Once you notice it, the crispness issue is even worse than it appears in the small screenshots.

Summary:
DPI to System -> text is not crisp problem: YES; narrow tree and small icons problem: NO.
DPI to Application -> text is not crisp problem: NO; narrow tree and small icons problem: YES.

Yes, reduced crispness is the price of "System (Enhanced)". When the glow-up is complete, all will be good and crisp.
