Hi, just upgraded to 28.40.0000 from the previous released version and I get a dialog box titled "Error 380" when attempting to start XYplorer:

1) From which version did you upgrade?

2) Does it start when you temporarily rename XYplorer.ini (before starting it)?

3) Is the Consolas font present on your system?

Hi, I upgraded from whatever the last released version was (I run it daily and always upgrade when offered).

XYplorer starts up (in trial mode) after renaming xyplorer.ini.

How can I get my settings back?

That was just a test. Just undo your rename to recover your settings. Then please try the new beta v28.40.0002. It has a better error message.

Clicking past the error does open XYplorer but my default tabs are missing. Also, when closing XYplorer, the process continues to run in the background.

Fascinating. We need one more round. The next beta will show me the exact line that causes the error.

Since the glow-up, the error hits all users whose one-year Standard License expired (which happened to you yesterday ).
