SC zip_list2

Hi
Calling SC zip_list2 with a .rar file doesn't give the expected result (.zip and .7z files are OK though).
current version of winrar (and unrar) 7.23.
Internal structure of test.rar
zip_list2("test.rar", <crlf>) returns
If the file contains more files under the root folder, the output pattern is the same, root file folder prefixed with numbers from 0 to 9.
If there is no folder, same kind of result, the file names are listed OK, but prefixed.
Hovering over the file icon gives the same result.

Can't reproduce. Can you send such a RAR to support?

In your orig post I noticed in your output the numbers aren't sequential, eg 0,4,7, if you manually correct the paths in the below cmd and then run it from a command prompt window:
Code: Select all
"C:\Program Files\WinRAR\UnRAR.exe" l "C:\fullpath_to\test.rar"
does the last digit of the file timstamps correspond to the numbers you see prefixed in XY? and if it does, does your date output format resemble this:
2026-04-06 11:57, what codepage/locale are you using?
Since it is a you only thing this happens to, If you just want a workaround to the issue, you should be able to just remove the path from ZipPathUnRAR= and XY should fallback to using 7z, (actually it might take you renaming UnRAR.exe if its a registered app)

@Don: Although I can't repro OP's issue, I do know of one issue with the current RAR listing that is possible, if you have some certain archive comments the listing can become erroneous, sample file below.
I think possibly an easy fix (at least for RAR not 7z) would be passing the -c- switch to supress the comment. eg. UnRAR.exe l -c-

@jupe
I don't know how you do it but you really have a point there !!!

It definitely looks like SC zip_list2 catches the last minutes digit. That would explain the xy rar archive 0 prefix (time ends with 00).
