XYploren Version 28.30.2200 (64bit)
Windows 11
Screen Scaling Percentage 100%

Hi,

I'm running XYplorer 28.30.2200 (64-bit) on Windows.

Issue: JPG files located inside my OneDrive folder (P:\OneDrive\Desktop\...) show "Can't decode" in the preview pane. The same JPG files, when viewed in a completely different (non-OneDrive) folder, e.g. C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper, preview correctly without any issue.

Setup details:

OneDrive folder location was recently moved to a non-system drive (P:\OneDrive)
Files on Demand is enabled
The affected file is fully downloaded/available locally (confirmed: opens normally in Windows Explorer with a working thumbnail and preview)
The issue persists after: refreshing the folder (F5), restarting XYplorer completely, and opening the folder in a new tab

Steps to reproduce:

Navigate to a folder inside the OneDrive sync folder (e.g. P:\OneDrive\Desktop\SomeFolder)
Select a JPG file that is fully downloaded (not a cloud-only placeholder)
Preview pane shows "Can't decode" instead of the image
Copy/view the same file from a non-OneDrive path — preview works fine

Is this a known issue with XYplorer's preview handling of files on OneDrive-synced drives (especially non-system drives)? Any workaround or fix would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If the files only exist on the remote drive, previewing them is not possible. They must be downloaded first (aka make available offline).
