File type categories like {:Executable} or {:Video} etc. are supported on many places by file search, visual filters or preview handlers. It would be very handy to be able to create user defined categories. I often search for cli-scripts (*.ps1;*.cmd;*.bat;*.xys;*.xyi) or config-files (*.cfg;*.ini) and would like to create such categories as group of file extensions. First step could be a tweak in ini.file to create such categories like:
FileCategory={:Script}|Script-files|ps1;cmd;bat;xys;xyi
FileCategory={:Config}|Config-files|cfg;ini
If such user defined categories exists visual filter, searches etc. are much easier
User defined file categories like {:Script} or {:Config}

Yeah, not a bad idea! Please remind me after the glow-up is complete.
