Tested on v28.30.1401 and v28.30.1500 x64 on Windows 10 with screen scaling at 100%.
For a while now, I see files not getting highlighted as selected when I select many files quickly by creating a selection rectangle from the upper right to the lower left. For this to happen, the XYplorer window has to be relatively tall, there must be so many files/folders in the current folder that the list has to scroll, and the selection action has to end with the mouse cursor on the taskbar.
How to replicate:
1) Resize the XYplorer window to make it e.g. 1500px high (the bottom must be close to the Windows taskbar), or maximise the window.
2) Navigate to a folder with so many files/folders that the list has a scrollbar.
3) Place the mouse in the upper right corner of the list, and drag it down and leftwards quickly, and with the cursor ending up on the Windows taskbar.
=> Some files/folders don't seem to be selected. The list can be scrolled without the selection changing. Only moving the mouse over those seemingly unselected files/folders will make XYplorer highlight them as selected too. See the attached GIF below.
In a fresh installation, the bug might take some tries to get triggered. In my working installation, I get non-highlighted files/folders easily. I guess it's a race condition that additional stress from stuff like tags and colour filters makes worse.
This seems to be a purely cosmetic bug. Dragging the selected files/folders into a different folder will move the whole selection, including the files that weren't highlighted.
