32 vs 64 bit

27.0
Win 11 25H2
150%

I tried searching and got 900+ matches

I think I've been running 32-bit for a reason - for a LONG time but I forget why. I was updating from 26 and installed the 64-bit version by mistake. Got asked about migrating settings I think. I canceled and installed 27.0.

Why would I have stuck with the 32-bit version? I think maybe it was related to thumbnails.

Seems like the 64-bit version is more up to date.

The only reason to stick with the 32-bit version is that it's still faster in some areas (startup, menus). This advantage will certainly fade over time.

Ok, thanks. I can't really detect any speed difference in those areas so I'll stick with x64.
