XYplorer Beta Club

Hi,

XYplorer version 28.30.0703. Updated to .0704 this morning, and expect the same issue to occur at some point, as it has with pretty much all the previous beta releases. Don't recall if it happened when I was on the non-beta version.

Win 11, screen scaling 125%.

Occasionally I will go to activate XYplorer by clicking on the taskbar icon, and nothing happens. The app is not brought to the foreground, alt-tab-ing does not switch to it, it's as if the app is not running at all. I have to end task it to get it to run again.

I think this is related to hibernation. It appears the issue only occurs after resuming from a windows hibernation. It's a bit annoying because I inevitably forget to manually save my settings, so after I restart the app any changes I made in the previous session are lost.

"Occasionally..." so it doesn't happen always after hibernation?

Not every time. Was okay today, was not okay yesterday.

Let me know if you see a pattern.

I didn't have situations of unresponsiveness forever, but indeed i noted XY quite lags at first minutes after waking up form hibernation = UI may glitch like not fully loaded, overall temporary unresponsiveness - but after smth like 1 minute everything is back to normal.
Though that's particularly on XY32, Win7.

Windows file I/O caches might be gone after wake up.
