Hover Box no image zoom

Is there a setting that enables zoom for images? I get the Hover Box but I can't zoom an image using either numpad+- or mouse wheel.

With the HoverBox showing press "R" on the keyboard.

Tip: When the Hover Box is showing press F1 to see all the keyboard shortcuts available for it.
