Wrong count of selected items in status bar under certain conditions

1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801): 28.20.0202
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11): 11
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%): does not matter for this bug
When I start selecting items in the list with Ctrl+Sift+Up/Down then the status bar starts displaying the count of selected items.
When I have selected a few items in that way, then simply stop pressing Ctrl (Shift is still pressed) and continue selecting more items with Up/Down, then the displayed count of selected items in the status bar all of a sudden shows a wrong count.

Doesn't happen here on 28.20.0202...
But I see a different bug^^
Files:
Code: Select all
1.txt
2.txt
3.txt
4.txt
5.txt
6.txt
7.txt
The current selected file is 4.txt
CTRL+SHIFT is held
2 x cursor up = 3 selected files are reported in the status bar, fine so far
1 x cursor down = 2 selected files are reported, still fine
1 x cursor down = 3 selected files are reported, nope^^

Maybe it is the same bug underneath.
Try this:
1) Have a file or folder selected in a list with at least 5 items.
2) Press and hold Ctrl+Shift and press Up 3 times.
-> So far, 4 items selected. Status bar shows: 4 selected -> OK so far.
3) Release Ctrl (but keep holding Shift).
4) Press Up again.
-> 5 items selected in list but status bar shows: 3 selected -> WRONG.

Both bugs confirmed and fixed in next beta. Both are completely independent.

Thank you, it is better now.
Still not fully fixed.
Although, the remaining issue might just be a redraw-issue.
Recreate an example:
1) Have an item selected in a list with at least 2 more items below.
2) Hold just Shift and press Down 2 times.
-> 3 items selected and status bar correctly says 3 selected. OK.
3) Hold both Shift+Ctrl and press Up once (the opposite direction).
4) Now, release Ctrl and hold only Shift again and press Up again once.
-> Visually there are now 2 items selected (with one non-selected in between) but status bar says 1 selected. -> WRONG.
I think that in this case there should only be 1 selected at the end. The status bar would probably be correct?
But I assume that the selections in the list are not correctly redrawn?
(If you hold only Ctrl in step 3 without Shift, then it works "as expected". But with both, Ctrl+Shift not.)

Should be fixed in the next beta.
