A useful option would be to sort the tabs by certain properties, for example:
by storage unit
by starting character
by locked tabs

Scripting...

I think it should be pre-installed on the app; it would be useful for more than one person.

But ... so far it's only you.
If more people like this idea they can speak up for themselves and if it gains enough support Don might consider it.

I like it. Sort by pathname would be my preferred option.

As highend said above: scriptable. Look for tab("move"); ...

Ok, TWO people who like the idea but not sure about how to script it

FWIW, my use case is a dozen or more tabs open at the bottom that I'm moving files into from above.
