After duplicating a file, selection changes
Posted: 23 Nov 2025 00:19
When I use Ctrl+D to duplicate a file, the originally selected file (the one I just duplicated) is no longer the selected one. To replicate:
1. Sort descending by Modified date
2. Click on a single file
3. Press Ctrl+D
=> Selection stays on the file with the same index (usually the newly created file).
4. Press {Down} to select the original file again
5. Press Ctrl+D to create a second duplicate (with -02 suffix)
=> Selection stays on the file with the same index (usually the first duplicate, with suffix -01).
