XY starts with Windows

I've had the 32-bit version of XY starting with Windows for several years. Now that the 64-bit version is out I want that version to start. Sounds simple, doesn't it?

The problem is that I cannot find why/where XY is starting with Windows. I certainly cannot find a configuration within XY. It does not appear in the startup menu of either my username or of all users. Task manager does not show it as a startup app. Although I've looked, I can't find anything in the task scheduler.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Create a copy of the XY shortcut that's on your desktop and put it into your startup folder.

Thanks. I know how to do that. I know how I can make the 64 bit start with Windows.

But What I'm trying to find out is WHY is the 32-bit version starting with windows? As I mentioned my original post I can't come up with anything any of the so-called traditional places where an app might have a start up configuration

There is no "start with Windows" configuration within XY. You need to do the opposite what WirlyWirly said. Remove the 32bit .exe from the Windows start menu.

I guess I'm not communicating very well...

There is NO ENTRY OR ICON OR SHORTCUT for XYPlorer in the startup folder for either my username or for all users
Nor is it listed in startup apps in Task Manager or ccleaner

I ran MS Autoruns and could find nothing there, so there should be nothing in the registry or scheduled tasks.

So, I'm stumped. It's such a simple thing, but can't figure out why XY is starting with Windows.

Thanks...
