Situations occasionally arise where you need to immediately identify the bit depth of images. It would be nice to add color depth info in the images hoverbox

Like:...8 Bits/Channel (also referred to as 24-bit color) / 16 Bits/Channel (also referred to as 48-bit color) / etc

Just because you didn't get any replies yet in the Tips and Tricks subforum doesn't mean you have to post it here as well

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the section for posting desired features, and there I simply asked a question and made sure that this feature does not exist.

It would be naive to hope that anyone would even pay attention to a question posted in the wrong section. Therefore, everything is done according to the forum rules.
