Flag to exclude network locations from all lists

I use XYplorer on a home network. Mostly, it's just my computer, but from time to time there are kids computers, my laptop etc. on the network.

When I use XYplorer to do copies etc. from my machine to a network machine, navigate to a network machine etc. the network path gets added to all the various lists which XYplorer maintains.

When the network computer is not switched on and accessible this leads to a delay when using any of the features which use lists whilst XYplorer discovers that the network location is not available.

Would it be possible to have a configuration option to exclude adding networked paths to lists? Either on a per-list basis (most flexible) or for all lists.

Or, is there a way to still have the network locations in the lists but to also avoid the delays?

Thanks!

Pete

Exclude network locations from the MRU isn't possible no, but you might want to try enabling "Assume that servers are available" on Configuration - Advanced. Then XY don't check but always assumes all network locations are available (shocking, isn't it? ;)) which should remove all the delays you're experimenting...

Hi Jacky,

Thanks! I guess "Assume Servers Are Available" is actually better than my idea, as having them in the lists when they are available is actually pretty helpful!

Cheers!
