Nested submenus in the Hamburger

Is there something about my setup that affects the indenting, or does the Help file need to be more clear? It says "Simply indent what should be in a submenu". To me, that implies that any type of indenting will do but I've found that it will only work if indented by ONE space. Anything else and the submenus will not be displayed.
Even the example in the Help file doesn't work if directly copied and pasted because the submenus are indented by two spaces.

This is the example from the help, 2 spaces for indentation:
Code: Select all
Mixed Stuff
#101;
:dice
-
<xypath>
<xydata>
URLs
https://www.xyplorer.com
https://www.xyplorer.com/purchase.php
-
Buttons
:copy
:dice
//:dice
-
Paths
Desktop
C:\
D:\
-
Apps
<xy>
C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe
And that's the result:

Where exactly is the problem?

The problem is, as I said. I've found it doesn't work for me. Don't see how I could be any clearer than that.

Hm - for me it's clear: you don't see the hamburger.
(Just guessing

Maybe, just maybe...
- By naming the bitness and version of XY
- By posting your hamburger menu code content in a bbcode code block
- By posting a screenshot with how the hamburger menu looks like with that exact code content from the previous step
But no, just leave everything in the dark, it's fine, people want to guess what's happening on your system.
Take the irony, keep it^^

I guess he has just mixed more than one indentation type but I'm really tired of guessing...

Aaah that'll be it. I didn't see anything in the help file that said indentation types can't be mixed so it never crossed my mind that would be the problem. Thanks
