Double-click to close tab

Post by JustinF »

I'd like to suggest a feature...double-click (and/or middle-click) a tab to close it. There are just some times that it would be more convenient to use the mouse to close a tab than CTRL+W.

Thanks!

Right-mouse -> context menu -> not good enough?

I find dbl-clk to close counter-intuitive... it's a typical open-activity.

LOL, no. Then you have to hunt for the correct menu item. That just makes life so hard! You could make this an option that is turned off by default.

I was also going to suggest that; double-click on an empty part of the tab bar to open a new tab...but there is no empty part. :)

Please make closing tabs with a single middle mouse click. That would be the best solution perhaps. Thanks.

Implement this:

and that would make room for double clicking to make new tab. :)
