Unable to set Edit Text font to bold for preview window or panel

Hello! I am using the latest 27.10.0000 on Windows 10. Using Tahoma font @ 8.25, I am unable to change the Edit Text (for preview contents or panel) to bold under Configuration->Colors and Styles->Fonts->Edit Text. It allows me to select bold but it never holds the setting, nor does it change the text in the Edit Box window or preview panel for a standard text file. I didn't see an entry to change in the configuration file either. Is this a limitation, possibly a bug, or a conflicting setting somewhere? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It is a limitation mentioned in the Help file: "Edit Text: Choose the font (name and size) used in text boxes ..."

Ok, thank you. Is that something that can be overcome with the upcoming 64-bit version?

It wasn't a technical limitation of the 32-bit version but a design choice at a very early stage. I'm not 100% sure but I think it was to keep things simple. So, it's doable. Later.
