.sgi and .pic fileformats for preview, collapsed sequences

Hi,
I'm looking into the new version 7.5 of XYplorer, and although it's really good, - for me - there's still some missing functionality.
What I would love to have in XYplorer is the ability to preview the .sgi and .pic formats. Both are formats created by 3D Applications like Maya and Softimage XSI and normally contain a alpha channel as well. (Which might be nice to see with a shortcut key).
Also, additional to this, it would be great to have the possibility to see numbered sets of images as a "collapsed" sequence. E.g. a set of images named test.001.sgi till test.200.sgi will show in the folderview as test.[1..200].sgi.
The additional ability to double click on this and "reopen" the numbered list would be the cherry on the cake so to speak ;-)
As I'm just testing things I have no idea of plugins, scripts etc. that might be out there to do this, or not....
Now it would look like I have to swap between XNView en XYplorer to do my daily work, but it would be great to do most of it in something like XYplorer and have the occasional use of XNView.
cheers,
rob
