Settings tooltip colors

Is there any way I can change the colors for the tooltips in the Settings window? Black text on dark blue background isn't the best combination and it's hard to read.

That is your system theme, not XY. Example: WIn7 standard theme.

For various reasons, I have a custom color theme: Windows mode is dark, and App mode is light. I have not experienced any similar issues with this configuration in any other app.

Black text on dark blue background? This must come from Windows. XY does not do anything about the tooltip colors. But why is XY the only app? :?

What colors do you expect, white on dark blue?

I expect the same colors as for all other tooltips in XYPlorer: black on light gray.

Please see the attached image where you have a tooltip for a toolbar icon and a tooltip in the settings window below.

You seem to use a 3rd party skin. Which Windows version is that?

I have Stardock's WindowBlinds, but the situation remains the same even if I exclude XYPlorer from being skinned.

Windows 11, 23H2

I am pretty sure that the tooltips in the config window are set via the OS colors, check the value of your key here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors
InfoWindow

Yes, you are correct. That ineffective color combination is defined in the registry. Changing it to something readable resolved the issue.

The odd thing is that I have had this configuration for a long time and have never seen those colors anywhere else than in the settings window for XYPlorer.
