Hi Don,
I tried going to a shortcut target in a new tab.
I used the context menu on that .lnk file and chose Shortcut Target > Go to Shortcut Target.
Since I wanted it in a new tab, I held shift at the same time.
The result was seemingly a never ending creation of new tabs.
XY did not respond anymore and I could only end it forcefully.
Hope you can recreate and fix it. Nothing urgent, but it is definitely something none of us wants to happen.
