No Word or Excel files with MDBU

Win 11, XY 26.70.0600

XY Preview works for all files that I have tried including Word and Excel
Mouse Down Blow Up works for text, bitmaps, PDF, rtf, doc but when I try with Word-docx or Excel-xls, the cursor just flashes the hour glass and nothing is displayed.

Are these file format not supported?

MDBU for these file types shows the thumbnail (thumbnail handler), not the preview (preview handler). Do you get thumbnails for them?

No, just a quick flash of the hourglass. I do get the hover info box.
In the Preview, all files render fine
MDBU does not work for xls or docx and for PDF only shows a mini image.(To get the below screen shot I had to use my camera)

Confirmed
but docx doesn't show any preview for me.

I was wrong. At least by default MDBU on Word or Excel shows the beginning of the textual contents, not the thumbnail. Depending on your IFilters you have to check Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Fall back to IFilters of the other bitness.

Sigh & Yeah! All that bitness trouble will soon be history.

That was it!
The Office files now show a text version which is fine
My PDFs now appear in full display.
All except the PDF sample I sent, it still only renders as a small image. I'm not sure what's different about that file and just my luck the one file that has some odd exception

Wasn't aware of the IFilters issue but there is a good explanation in the help.

Many thanks!
