Performance issue folder search

In the ‘Attributes’ search tab, there is an option to set a checkbox for the folder search. This generally works well, but all files within the search path are also searched. For a path with millions of files, the search is very slow. However, it is not necessary to scan all files. The search could be extremely increased by passing the files.

Can the search be optimised?

Windows (every known version of it) does not provide a reliable way to enumerate only the directories contained in a directory. So XY has to look at all the items and decide whether they are a directory or not.

I could actually make the "folders only" search two times faster anyway!
