Weird Taskbar icon Today

Right after I opened Xyplorer (and then clicked Ok to install the update it changed the Icon on the taskbar to some Period inside of a square.

Ive done everything to try to refresh it like unpinning from taskbar, and start, and repining to each and even opening to file location of the start menu shortcut and changed icon but still the same. On the start menu it shows the regular icon but on taskmanager it did not. Even restarted the computer. Just wanted to let ya'll know.

Ha I see now with the image zoomed in that its just a tiny version of the icon. From my distance sitting in a recliner it looked like just a dot. But that gave me something else to try, I changed the DPI scale settings on the computer which is set at 225% scale right now reclining and when I changed it to 150% (recommended) and then back to %225 it fixed the icon

so that might have just been a me thing. Sorry if that is true!

Hi, was this ever resolved? I always have the same thing (an extremely tiny taskbar icon). 100% of the time.

This hasn't happened to me as much anymore but whenever it does i think it might be something to do with me and constantly changing my display scale. I have a Stream Deck that has a button that specifically changing my scale from 150% to 225% and vice versus that I use sometimes 5 times a day because I have a computer chair at the next and behind it a Recliner and I flip flop back and forth from the different seating positions and each time i change my display by pressing that button i made on my Stream Deck. Im not sure if that is exactly why that was happening. I do still use that button but probably less, some days I dont anymore. Maybe thats why it isn't happening for me anymore, im not sure. Hope any of that information may help you to resolve your issue.
