I figure these questions are more for support than a community forum, but I didn't get a response to my email so here I am. Is there any other way to get support, like Discord maybe?

When I first get XYPlorer I have a 30 day free trial. What happens if I get the portable version, how do I update it once I buy a license?

What is the point of a 2nd pane? It seems like both have tabs for different locations so there's no difference and I see no point in having 2.

I read something about you having a feature called Paper that is like Collections in Directory Opus. What does that feature do?

or ofc by downloading the latest portable one, quit any running XY instances and copy everything over

- These are just .txt files which contain file and folder entries (one per line) => Virtual folders
For what? You can see a (flat) structure of totally different paths all in the same view
