Good evening,
I've configured XYplorer to hide the Rapid Access folder in the tree. This causes an issue when connecting or disconnecting removable drives. On connection or disconnection the path is changed to This PC. When I configure XYplorer to show the Rapid Access folder the problem disappears.

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Same thing with gamepads. Also when waking up computer from sleep.

When I uncheck "Detect portable devices" under "Respond to file system notifications" the issue is gone while still having Rapid Access hidden. What exactly does this option do?

I don't use Mini Tree, at least I didn't for months.

Default tree in my case. You can test with a clean profile, only disabling Rapid Access folder from showing in the tree. Then navigate to any folder except This PC and insert a thumb drive or something similar.
