XYplorer is taking a long time to open

Hi,
It's a strange thing that started since the last update.
When launching XYplorer, it takes a very long time to open.
Something is happening in the background, sometimes taking 30 seconds. to show the main screen.
Any suggestion on that? Is it a bug, or what could it be?

Execute this from the address bar and show the content of the window, that'll pop up?
text get("loadtimes");

Interesting.
1) What's TAMF?
2) After XY is finally loaded run this script through the address bar and post the returns: dlog;
3) Is there anything listed in the tree under the Network node?
4) If not, should there be anything listed in the tree under the Network node?

Hi,
1) TAMF is just a keyword I put with my questions to find them quickly after they are on the board.
2) "Yplorer 26.30.0100 - 30-Day Trial Version - Day 1 - Windows 10, 64-bit, Version 22H2, Build 19045.4651 (10.0) - 2024-08-13 19:20:16
3) yes, my two Qnap NAS
I have to say also after this question about the network that:
My connection to the NAS is by TB3. Also, I use "Thunderbolt to Ethernet, known as T2E" to connect my machine to the local network and the internet.
I use Qfinder from Qnap for this. I don't know if there is a problem with Xyexplorer connecting to the network when using T2E—something I can't confirm.
With Windows Explorer, the connection to my folders on the NAS is fast and reliable. It also seems fast when using "Xy" after it starts.
I disconnected the TB3 and left only my 1GB ethernet interface to connect to the NAS (use of standard Ethernet), and after executing "text get("loadtimes");"
got those results

This proves to me that is not the TB3 connection that is holding the start of Xyexplorer.
I hope those comments help to pinpoint the problem.

Don't tag your posts with arbitrary keywords in the title^^
Just click on the "Your posts" link in the upper right corner to see them...
Tick this:
Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | [x] No network browsing at startup
Save settings, start XY again
You think that T2E is not responsible for the delay after 24 seconds were shaved off from the startup time after you've had disabled it? oO

See the previous post by highend, but since I have written this already, here it is too:
You really need to start in a folder on the server?
Try experimenting with the following three settings (starting XY always anew):
Startup&Exit / No network browsing at startup
Safety Belts, Network / Assume that servers are available
Safety Belts, Network / Cache network servers

Hi,
1. I'm sorry for any problem I may have created with the "TAMF." I'll not use them anymore.
2 Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | [x] No network browsing at startup seems to solve the problem, but also
Safety Belts, Network / Assume that servers are available
Safety Belts, Network / Cache network servers
Should I use all 3 of them or just the first?
Why am I having this kind of problem that doesn't happen in Windows Explorer? Is there a reason for that?
Thanks to all who helped me with this case.

Assume that servers are available = If ticked, password protected servers won't popup a logon dialog anymore.
So you have to know if you can activate it or not.
The other two: Check them
Don't know anything about Qfinder or use a QNAP device myself, can't comment on that part...
